Privacy notice
Your data, plainly.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Who we are
Daydrape (“we”) is the controller of the personal data described here. The controller is Rui Amorim, trading as Daydrape, based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@daydrape.com.
What we collect on this website
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist, plus the date you signed up and which form you used.
- Basic, privacy-friendly usage statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as page views, referring sites and approximate country. It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't build a profile of you or track you across other sites.
We don't ask for photos on this website. The app's photo handling will be described in the app's own privacy notice before launch.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your email to tell you when Daydrape launches and to send occasional build updates. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing hello@daydrape.com.
We use the anonymous usage statistics to understand how many people visit and which pages work, under our legitimate interest in running and improving this website (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Who processes it for us
This website and the waitlist are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our processor. Your email, sign-up date and the form you used are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database located in Western Europe. Cloudflare is a US company and may access data from other countries to run its service; it protects international transfers with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing terms. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. If we later move the list to an email service to send the launch email, we'll update this notice first.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until Daydrape launches and for 12 months after that, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Cloudflare's anonymous analytics are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention limits.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@daydrape.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
